Fragile Fragments

...everything keeps changing
and going before the Gods
and people
there wonders endlesly
an uncertain light
of the highest truth

(Fernando Pessoa-Faust fragments)
“Movement does not need and does not want a vocabulary because each of its curves and nuances is a never ending metaphor in itself. Movement is a hieroglyph of the essence of man. Them mystery of the history of our birth is enchanted in it. We are for ever and in vain trying to reach this mystery.

The texts of the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa contain many word and mind curves and movements. Thre is a lot of unknown open space in which he is falling as a grain of sand in his effort to touch God's robe.” Jan Komárek

The performance Fragile fragments is inspired by texts from the collection by Fernando Pessoa, which was published in the Czech Republic as Faust (fragments). We do not try to interpret the texts by motion but we try to get the touch of the emotionality interpreted by the dancers' associations.
