Body Meets Space
... a number to choose ... places to sit and spend a moment... a window to look through ... a poem to various voices, emotional landscapes, a stroll ... groups of people listening... my breath ... his breath ... in a single room ... the past is today, the future is now ... her breath ... someone passing by outside ... a cigarette is lit up ... this extends its borders ...
A performative installation where the visitor is invited to travel in situ, alone or in a group. During the creative process, I’m dealing with the memory of a place, traces, translation, acquired images, states of presence and sound poetry.

..someone welcomes you to chose a number between 8, 15 and 23, to find your comfort and to focus on your breath while listening to what you will listen. In the room pillows, chairs, faded light lamps, a hanger with different clothes, a bench facing a window, an orange curtain, two stretchers facing the moon, a skeleton, two mattresses, blankets... on the floor - three devices, each connected to five headphones. You're taken to the device of your number, you place the headphones, you listen to a poem. A poem of many voices, of emotional landscapes, of a walk. You can move in the space, lay down, watch the window outside, the moon, watch the room, yourself, the others, but stay always together with the other four of the group. You finish, the one who welcomed you into the room has changed his clothes, appearing someone totally different, keeping the same presence, moving in space... perhaps you noticed... He invites you to leave a drawing or a word before you leave... if you want to leave...
